Lackland ISD values input from students and families – and we need to hear from you! You are an important partner as we work to improve our communication, academic program and overall experience for students and their families.
In order to learn more about student and family experiences in Lackland ISD, we will be asking for feedback via anonymous surveys designed to take no more than 15 minutes to complete. Anonymous means that we will NOT ask for or track individually identifiable information such as a person’s name, address, phone number or social security number. Students in grades 3 – 12 will complete the anonymous surveys while at school. Parents who want to preview student survey questions should interact with the demo surveys provided here. Parents who do not want their children to participate in the surveys should complete and submit the electronic “survey opt-out” form located here no later than Friday, April 7, 2017. Students will take their survey during the April 10th – 21st survey window.
What type of questions will students see on their survey?
The district has identified topics that we are most interested in learning about and improving upon. The questions asked on the survey are designed to measure perceptions about the school climate, student social-emotional learning, school safety, and family engagement.
How are district and schools using the survey results?
The survey results will be used to inform and prioritize our district initiatives. Survey results and the subsequent initiatives will be shared with you and the rest of the community.
How can you take the survey?
Parents will receive a link to parent surveys using the email accounts associated with your child’s registration. Email dissemination is used to encourage participation. We will not track individual information related to responses received.
We thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses. If you have any questions about the survey please contact our Director of Community Relations.
